Applying Spirit Graphics

1. 1.  Clean and dry surface thoroughly. (rubbing alcohol or  window cleaner works well)

2. 2.  Peel away protective backing.

3. 3.  If graphic tries to adhere to backing, rub firmly with hand or edge of a credit card. (See “Holographic Vinyl” below)

4.  4.  Begin applying graphic at one side, then smooth toward the open side using hand or credit card.

5.  5.  Remove application material carefully, pulling it away at close to a 180-degree angle.

   IMPORTANT:  Before applying, store in a cool, dry place.  Excessive heat may cause the graphic to adhere to the backing.

HOLOGRAPHIC VINYL

Because holographic vinyl is so slick, the application tape has difficulty adhering to it.  When the backing is removed from the decal, the holographic vinyl will sometimes want to stay on the backing and not on the application tape.  Use your fingers or a credit card and rub the surface of the application tape thoroughly, then carefully work the backing off of the graphic.
